The InfoSphere Information Server Administration course is designed for students whose role and responsibility is for the implementation, configuration and maintenance of the V8.01/V8.1 software environment.
This 3-day course will cover topics that include: Information Server software platform and architecture; Installation of the Information Server components; Security and Role configuration of the software environment; Architectural deep dive and configuration; Software environment administration and monitoring; Software environment maintenance. Learn using a combination of lecture and hands-on lab. You must be comfortable with general operating system knowledge in the areas of networking, IO sub-system, shell commands, file system and RDBMS. The lab environment for this course is Redhat Linux v4, Information Server V8.1, and DB2 V9.1.
